MILES FOR MELANOMA
Calling all CA employees! I hope you will help me reach my goal of raising $50,000 for the Melanoma International Foundation. Michael Dalton is currently undergoing one year of IV interferon therapy to combat the recurrence of his cancer. In honor of Mike, I'm taking the year to log thousands of training and race miles. On Sunday July 13 I'll cover 70.3 miles; 1.2 miles of swimming in the Narragansett sound, a quick 56 miles on the bike through back roads to Providence, and 13.1 miles on foot around the state capital. It's all part of the Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island. In November I'll double the distances in Panama City, 140.6 miles of Ironman Florida.
